There are 3 days until competition and we are practically jumping out of our stools making posters and touching up the shooter. We are lacking bodies, so come and help us prepare for the Hofstra Regionals! We know most of our team has been sick and busy with the start of Spring sports, but we appreciate all the help we can get! On a healthier note, Engineering Night was a huge success, and with over 50 kids, we made a huge impact on the future engineers of North Shore. Thanks to all of those who helped with the set up and coordination of the night, especially Alaina who planned the night from start to finish. It’s the week of Valentine’s Day and we will continue to working diligently until the end of the build season! We are LOVING the way our robot is turning out and are preparing for the Regional Competition in March. We have had some visitors eager to see the completed robot and are thrilled that we have the potential to inspire a future generation of engineers.

Currently, we are still waiting on parts to be delivered for our robot, but as the end of build season approaches, we are losing more and more members to the Spanish and Italian Exchange and the Music trip to Italy and Croatia. We will get through the February Break with half a team, and a completed robot (hopefully). Aside from the building, we have prepared the Chairman’s Award and are making key chains using our 3D Printer for the PTA. Have fun to our other half in Europe!
